I bought this piece in February 2020 during the pandemic. It is such a beautiful display of affection and connection during a period when we couldn’t embrace our neighbors and loved ones physically. And yet I feel connection and affection between the act of sharing a coffee between these women. The compassion on their faces is palpable.
